Developing the Mantis Queen

Developing The Mantis Queen model. (WIP) Using the real hooded mantis species for reference I developed alternative functions for the arms and added some grasping "humanoid" arms that retract into the upper torso. I've rewritten the concept for this character multiple times and learned enough 3D modeling to construct a model. The 6 pheromone emitters really add to the peacock/alien empress like presence of her silhouette and I'm pleased by her head shape after various head shape studies of real life mantis species. As she is an artificial lifeform I have tried to make some parts of her exoskeleton almost android like to infer technological augmentation.
